With the ‘the original hip hop geezer’, BLAK TWANG, teaming up with rising star TUBBY BOY and the boom-bap sounds of K9 alongside one of the country’s finest and funkiest brass bands and the turntable skills of DJ BUSY FINGERS, ‘Brass and Bars’ links the DNA of these two musical families.

Bad-to-the-bone, and full on funkin', BRASSROOTS, have played at Ronnie Scotts, Glastonbury, London Jazz Festival, Channel 4’s Celebrity Big Brother, Secret Garden Party, Standon Calling and WOMAD, as well as recording with Rudimental, Coolio, Martha Reeves & The Vandellas, Stylo G, Elle Eyre, John Newman, Duke Dumont, Beggar & Co. and countless others.
